RunBetterTogether

Learn to run by feel and not time or distance. Our free 6-week programme is designed for both beginners and regular runners helping you to run technically well, making running more enjoyable.

A 6-week program designed to help at any point on your running journey, to become a stronger and more efficient runner. The main emphasis is on how you feel rather than following a prescribed distance or time of running/walking. The program will give you the knowledge and support to make your runs more enjoyable and will help you achieve your running goals whether that be a couch to 5KM or a Marathon.

In the run section of the HER spirit app you will find a variety of information and tips to help you on your journey. Each week you will learn a new running drill that can be incorporated into the start of every run/walk session. In addition to the drills you will find videos on how to warm-up, mobilise your body and cool-downs after each and every session.  Not only does this lead to a much more fun and enjoyable run but will help you to avoid injury and become a stronger runner.

In RunBetterTogether there will be no prescribed length of run/walk just go off how you feel. Start by running/walking a distance that you are currently doing then gradually increase it over the 6 weeks, but only if you feel ready for it. The main emphasis of the program is technique and running form so it may be beneficial to remain at your usual distance but focus on the technique learning points of that session. Not only does this lead to a much more fun and enjoyable run but will help you to avoid injury and become a stronger runner.

I very rarely invest in myself! I guess my running is me trying to invest in myself but with 4 children and working 6-day weeks it’s really hard. I have loved the live running coaching on Her Spirit and want to get back to running half marathons.
