Mango Bikes gets behind Her Spirit pledging their support with every sale
Her Spirit has partnered with Mango Bikes to give every woman the opportunity to cycle and experience the benefits of being more active.
Only one in three women choose cycling as a way to be more active, a stat that Her Spirit and Mango Bikes both want to change.
The firm wants to support the Her Spirit team to hit their target of changing one million women’s lives by 2020. So, for every bike sold using the checkout code GoHer19, Mango Bikes will donate 5% of the full sale price to Her Spirit.
According to research from British Cycling, men currently account for 69% of the UK’s cycling population. Barriers such as confidence on the roads, cycling infrastructure and concerns over safety are said to be key factors in deterring greater female participation.

“In our young family, we have a son and 3 daughters who we want to see growing up in a more sustainable world with a massively-reduced reliance on vehicles. Current patterns indicate there’s a good chance our son may cycle regularly, but his sisters are less likely to do so. Although female cyclists are increasing, their numbers are very low compared to males.
