Understanding Anxiety – Rhian Bowden

I have chosen anxiety as the first well-being workshop to share with the Her Spirit Community because anxiety is on the rise and the statistics are quite alarming. According to The Mental Health Foundation, In 2022/2023, an average of 37.1% of women and 29.9% of men reported high levels of anxiety compared to data from 2012-2015 where 21.8% of women and 18.3% of men reported high levels of anxiety.

Having experienced anxiety myself, I know how debilitating it can be and the impact it has on personal health & wellbeing and on relationships/family life. Overcoming anxiety is one of my proudest achievements and I want you to know how I achieved this. I have conversations on a daily basis with clients, colleagues, friends & family about stress and anxiety being the norm. Most people I talk to believe anxiety is something you have to live with and manage. I know this isn’t true because I’ve found a way out. If anxiety is impacting your life and you feel ready to take control of your health, this workshop is for you.

I believe we can empower ourselves through knowledge, understanding and awareness which is what this workshop is all about. We will delve deeper into the causes and symptoms of anxiety and explore potential triggers which may uncover the root cause of your symptoms.

To experience debilitating anxiety and the impact it had on my health, relationships and wellbeing and then find a way to heal has been life changing!
