Her Spirit 5K Challenge

If you have never taken on a 5K before, or you are not sure how to train for one, then this is the challenge for you.

At Her Spirit, we believe passionately that every woman can enjoy running. Give Me 5 isn’t all about pounding the pavements, it is a holistic programme.

Give Me 5 is designed to help you with everything from breathing to posture, building strength to developing overall fitness, all with the aim of helping you run more easily.

Four-time Olympian Donna Fraser, supported by the Her Spirit coaching team, will take you on an 8-week, small step by small step journey to a fun 5km walk or run.

At the end of the 8-weeks, you will be cheered on by the Her Spirit community as you do your Give Me 5 virtual 5K walk or run.

How does it work?

  • Start any time our FREE Give Me 5  8-week challenge.
  • Sign up to Her Spirit  and navigate to the “Take on a Challenge” section in the Her Spirit
    app and choose Give Me 5
  • Follow the Her Spirit 5K audio programme FREE for 8 weeks.
  • Try a new, healthy recipe every week.
  • Access weekly strength, yoga and mindfulness sessions in the Her Spirit app.
  • Take on a virtual 5k walk or run at the end of 8 weeks.

Challenge includes:

  • 8-week audio programme.
  • Give Me 5 Progress Tracker.
  • Access to the Her Spirit virtual run group where you can meet other women taking part in the
    challenge
  • Get weekly advice and motivation from the coaching team at Her Spirit.
  • Direct message a Her Spirit coach for advice and support.
  • Meet up with the Her Spirit Run Angels in your locality (where available).
